Soil columns technique was conducted to assess the possibility of saline-sodic soils reclamation by using gypsum (G), sulfur (S) , rice straw compost (RSC) and direct current (DC). Soil samples were collected from Sahl El-Hossinia, El-Sharkia Governorate, Egypt. The treatments were control (leaching alone), G, S, RSC, DC, DC + G, DC + S and DC + RSC. Results showed pronounced decrease in soil bulk density, pH, ECe and exchangeable sodium percentage for all treatments. The most effective treatment was DC+G. Efficiency of treatments was in the following order: DC+G > DC+S> DC+C > DC > G > S > C > Control.
